Inside Celio Saab and Zein Qutami's Wedding Weekend

July 22 . 2025

Over the course of three extraordinary days, Zein Qutami and Celio Saab, son of world-renowned fashion designer Elie Saab, reimagined the traditional wedding format, creating a celebration that was equal parts sophisticated, personal, and visually unforgettable. This wasn’t merely a wedding, it was a thoughtfully curated experience that blended style, emotion, and storytelling into every moment.

Kicking things off above the clouds, literally their pre-wedding bash took over Faqra in full force. Picture tribal fusion meets modern elegance, with drums beating in the distance, mountains glowing in golden hour light, and a guest list that brought the energy. This wasn’t just a theme. It was a mood.

Nature did the heavy lifting: Olive and camel tones, soft taupes, pampas for days, and wild greenery that danced with the wind like it knew it was being watched. Raw, real, and ridiculously photogenic.

And then there was the dress. Zein floated in wearing a custom blush-toned gown, whipped up by her father-in-law, no big deal. Elie Saab sprinkled his signature magic over every inch, complete with a dreamy cape that caught the breeze just right. Straight out of a fashion film.

The crowd? Equally iconic. Claudine Saab shimmered in a mocha sequin moment, Celio kept things cool with a crisp open shirt and a taupe suit, and everyone else understood the assignment.

This wasn’t your average welcome party, it was a stylish prelude to a love story that was just getting started.

The second chapter took place in Bkerke, where the couple wed beneath the ancient arches of Lebanon’s historic Maronite Patriarchate Church. Over a thousand guests gathered, among them public figures, fashion icons, and global celebrities, to witness a moment that was both spiritual and spectacular.

Zein’s bridal look was the epitome of reverent opulence: a long-sleeved couture gown in embroidered silk, hand-finished with more than 1,500 sequins, crystals, and silver threads. Her veil cascaded like a waterfall of tulle, her tiara gleamed in the sun, and her beauty, styled by Wassim Morkos and Bassam Fattouh, felt timeless.

The ceremony, though grand in scale, felt intimate in its emotions, an elegant echo of love grounded in faith and family. As dusk fell, the celebration shifted to Beirut. The reception was a sea of Elie Saab gowns, with guests like Nancy Ajram, Elissa, and Hande Erçel gracing the evening in couture. It was less red carpet, more dreamscape.

For this second act, Zein changed into a dazzling after-party gown, a sleeveless, rose-hued masterpiece embroidered with crystals and finished with a 4.5-meter overskirt that shimmered with every step.

The third and final day was all about ease. No pressure, no protocol, just pure emotion. Set in an intimate location surrounded by those dearest to them, the post-wedding soirée traded grandeur for genuine connection.

The design remained tasteful and warm, but the vibe shifted to something more playful and free. If the first night was a visual experience, and the second a spiritual celebration, the third was a soul reset. A moment for the couple to be fully present, wrapped in the simplicity of love.

They composed a wedding that was layered like a well-crafted narrative: grounded in tradition, elevated by fashion, and fueled by feeling. Every detail, from custom couture to the rhythm of tribal drums, was part of a larger harmony.
