Back To The Ottoman Empire For One Night

July 22 . 2021

We'll never miss on a chance to discuss breathtaking wedding celebrations, especially if it was Ottoman-inspired echoing a palatial and royal feel.

In the heart of Saida city, a little piece of paradise was spotted to celebrate Zina and Jad's special day. The Lavish Ottoman palace, Saray Nassib Basha, was transformed into an aura of romance brimming in fine unconditional blooms.

As you take your first steps inside, an Ancient Sufi welcome awaits. You can spot guests mingling at the welcome area amid a group whirling dervishes on the sound of traditional oriental live band . The celebration started with a religious Katb-Kteb ceremony amid the beauty of mother nature, in a royal blue setting with oriental patterns and multiple leveled elegant yet intricate chandeliers. If you ask us what was our favorite part of the religious ceremony we won't hesitate to say the emotional entry of the bride and groom! The couple entered and made their way in from different parallel aisles, to finally cross paths and meet at at the main stage where they said their I dos .

With eyes filled with happy tears and a heart loaded with love, it was now time to move to the courtyard of the Saray. An entry gate led guests into the most enchanting pathway filled to the brim with exquisite flowers and a line-up of chandelier galore. The courtyard was sprinkled with floral magic, while tables were each labeled after Lebanese historical landmarks. And just when we thought we've had enough emotions this night , the Bridal entry proved us wrong ; A grand customized staircase, a Zuhair Murad dazzling bride, and hundreds of swooning hearts .

We Love meaningful pieces that we can not only hold in our hands but also close to our hearts. This is exactly what the wedding invitation was about with its heartwarming letter and significant souvenir. Guests were touched to receive a unique piece made solely of the shattered glass from Beirut's port explosion , reused and repurposed so that guests will always have a piece of their Beloved Beirut in the heart of their home, reminding them of the city's resilience and beauty that will prevail .
