2022 saw a glorious comeback of grand, extravagant, and out-of-the-box wedding celebrations in Lebanon. From constructing an aisle over the river, turning huge exhibition halls into magnificent receptions, to saying ‘’I do’’ in an abandoned historic factory, nothing is off limits in the Lebanese wedding world.

We've rounded up the "Top Lebanese Weddings of 2022" that got heightened to epic proportions and gave us the chance to dream all year long, seen below in alphabetical order.

Carole and Gurhan's Wedding

We collectively swooned when this grand wedding reception was revealed. Right inside the biggest exhibition hall in Beirut, this outwardly wedding held nothing back in pursuit of elegance! The setting made quite the splash with its epic statement structures and lavish ceiling installations proving that wedding ingenuity knows no bounds. The cherry on top? The Lebanese-Turkish couple brought the beauty of both of their cultural traditions and celebrated them in a night we won't soon forget.

We can always count on lavish celebrations to make our day, and this one clearly got the memo! Is it the
larger-than-life structures? The abundance of florals and sparkles? Or the charming ambience that prevailed that night? Something (or EVERYTHING) about this wedding stopped us in our track and flew us straight to a magical universe of fantasy.

Nathalie & Hassan's Wedding

Everything we love about Roman-inspired weddings was wrapped up into one epic night: Nathalie Basma and Hassan Abdallah’s Wedding. Inspired by Milan Fashion Week, everything trend-focused, and the old-world charm of the Roman empire, the reception was bursting with class, infinite reflections of chandeliers and all-around column pillars, creating a grandeur space evoking the Roman feel with a sense of Mediterranean ambiance. Natalie took our breaths away with her elegant custom-made wedding gown by designer Saiid Kobeisy, and made sure to capture our hearts yet again with her second caped gown during the party.

Sara and Samer's Wedding

This couple decided to go the extra mile and build a platform right over the river to celebrate their big day! Overseeing the Historical Mamluk bridge and the 17-Arches Roman aqueduct, the space was injected with an overdose of floral charm beautifully blending with the nature’s surrounding. Every moment during this night left us speechless, but it was the bride crossing the river during her entry on a touching customized song that made our hearts skip a beat!

Zeinab and Samer's Wedding

The perfect celebration of love does exist, and this wedding is a living proof! Not one, not two, but three welcome areas were designed for this celebration, all contemporary, bubbly, and chic. The reception area was an experimentation of contemporary structures and installations that took us to a whole other bewitching dimension, while the captivating and dynamic ceiling stole our attention, and hearts!

Maysser and Bachir

Got a thing for all things French, chic and historic? We know we do! Nestled inside the ruins of an abandoned open-air silk factory, this wedding is beyond our wildest dreams. To make the experience one for the books, the factory was divided into four French bistro-inspired zones following an exceptionally designed theme, rich in chic furniture, joyous colors and exquisite imprinting and structures. Just as magnificent as this setting was the Bride's Rami Kadi couture gown, elevated by a customized enchanted crystal couture rose replacing the traditional bridal bouquet!

Inspired by the magical lantern festival, a dream-like setting overloaded with thousands of candles and lanterns was created specially for this couple. From edgy architectural shapes, modern and dynamic ceiling installations, to eccentric designs, grand structures and even indoor water fountains, we would say “ I DO “ in this setting any day, any time! The bride was shining brighter than a diamond in her Zuhair Murad show-stopping couture gown with a long train that left had everyone dreaming for days.
