Celebrating a sparkling double milestone this year: 25 chic years of Tony Ward, and 70 years of Ward legacy!

Having built one of the most iconic fashion brands in the world, Tony Ward has much to celebrate as the brand turns 25 continuing his father’s seventy-year-old heritage– and he is so enduring it an innovative approach, power, and style.

Celebrating fashion, craftsmanship, and life, the designer has launched on Thursday a very personal, fascinating, and sentimental exhibition at his headquarters in Beirut, extended for a 2 weeks journey.

This remarkable fair delves into the history of the Ward brand, telling the backstories, showcasing the collections, and reminiscing over their modest milestones seeking to highlight the daring vision, glaring innovation, and the driving inspiration within.

Exploring an extraordinary exhibition of their originality and marked legacy, the experience unveils Ward’s unique artistic flair, the intricacy invested in each design, and the remarkable scope of their refined work and intriguing futuristic masterpieces.

A documentary about the father and son’s fashion career was laid out in a short sentimental film. “I dedicate this celebration and the pages I’m ready to fill, to him.” says Tony Ward, in an emotional speech to his father. By 1952, Elie started his own couture house at the age of 16 in Beirut, but it is his son Tony who has transformed it into the international brand that it is today.

Tony is now more about leading his eponymous brand towards a viable way to a sustainable future in which he already had experimented with eco-friendly and biodegradable materials on his previous extravagant Haute Couture Collections. His deep curiosity and constant stimulating drive to be part of the fashion sustainability journey and the fast-paced world of fashion is just utterly influential!

From the very beginning of the exhibition, Tony unveiled the most show-stopping and idyllic gowns, and it was no different from the detailing and quality that Tony always delivers.

Each floor at the exhibition conveys different pivotal moments and gorgeous masterpieces of the brand and celebrates the intricately beautiful designs and people associated with it. A line of paintings told the story of the Maison’s achievements throughout the years, showcased the 70 years legacy from the very start. Meeting the source of it all, a whole floor was designed exclusively for Elie Ward to express sincere appreciation and admiration to his foundation of the Ward Atelier brand since 1952, showcasing his vintage and timeless showpieces as his designs were made to last a lifetime.

Roaming around L’UNIVERS DES MATIERES sparked enthusiasm in us about the art of fashion. An incredibly impeccable zone with hanging fabric quilts and patterns, all used in high-end tailoring clothes.

The exhibit is meant to be one total artwork, everything we laid our eyes on was mesmerizing, chic, and so beautifully divine! That’s undeniably a MUST-SEE fashion exhibition that you can’t miss!
